Masteron E

Description

Drostanolone Enanthate (Masteron E) is the long-acting heptanoate ester variant of Drostanolone. Pharmacology is identical to the propionate ester: 2α-methylated DHT derivative, no aromatase substrate, weak estrogen receptor antagonist with anti-estrogen residual action.

Per study reports the longer half-life of about 7-10 days brings a practical profile: two weekly injections suffice for stable plasma levels. This makes Masteron E the preferred compound in longer cutting or recomp research protocols where Masteron P with every-1-2-day injections would be impractical.

Pharmacology and side effect profile correspond to Masteron P: no aromatization, no water retention, mild anti-estrogen action, low hepatotoxicity. The milder action compared to Tren or classical anabolics makes Masteron E a “quality of life” compound in the research stack.

In recreational research practice Masteron E is typically used in 12-16 week cycles, often as accompanying compound to Test E and occasionally Tren E. The similar half-life of all three compounds allows synchronized injections twice per week.

Clinically Drostanolone (in propionate form) was used for breast cancer treatment. The enanthate form wasn’t clinically developed but exists primarily in underground pharmacy for recreational research purposes.

Drostanolone is on the WADA banned list.

Risks & Safety

Drostanolone Enanthate shares the mild risk profile of Masteron P - the effects described in the literature are manageable, but the DHT derivative remains an effective anabolic with a clear risk profile.

Documented in studies and the application literature:

• No aromatization: the 2-alpha-methylated DHT derivative is resistant to aromatization, estrogen-mediated effects and water retention are not documented. A weak anti-estrogen residual action is described.
• Androgenic effects: as a DHT derivative, mild androgenic effects such as acne and accelerated hair loss with genetic predisposition are documented.
• Suppression of endogenous production: Masteron moderately suppresses the HPG axis. Reduced endogenous testosterone production is documented, a test base is customary in research practice.
• Cardiovascular: the literature describes a worsening of the lipid profile, cardiac effects with long-term use are documented. Hepatotoxicity is low because there is no 17-alpha-methyl group.
