What is the Selank + Semax Blend?
This blend unites the two best-known peptides from Russian nootropic research: selank (anxiolytic) and semax (focusing, BDNF-raising), 10mg each in a 20mg vial. You also find both individually in the lexicon. The idea: calm and clarity in one.
How it works
Selank acts calming and anxiolytic via the GABA system without strong drowsiness. Semax raises BDNF and promotes focus and mental clarity. Together they are meant to support a balanced, alert state.

What the research shows
Selank showed an anxiolytic effect comparable to a tranquilizer in a clinical study, without its sedation (Zozulya, 2008). Semax raises BDNF and TrkB (Dolotov, 2006). For the fixed combination there is no separate study, the benefit derives from the individual compounds. Most research comes from Russia.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated, occasionally mild irritation of the nasal mucosa (nasal).
- Rarely headache, inner restlessness if taken too late (semax part).
Storage
Before mixing the powder is robust, normal room temperature (around 20 to 25 degrees) is fine, ideally kept in the dark. After mixing, keep in the fridge (2 to 8 degrees), do not freeze. It stays good there for at least 8 to 10 weeks with barely any loss of potency, in practice considerably longer. Swirl or shake to mix, both are fine.
