What is CP10?

CP10 is the standard combo stack for the growth hormone axis: CJC-1295 (a GHRH analog) and ipamorelin (a selective GHRP) in one vial. You also find both individually in the lexicon. The CP10 format simplifies the ready-mixed use.

The 10mg vial holds half of each (5+5), the 20mg vial 10+10.

How it works

The two compounds engage two different systems of the GH axis: CJC-1295 the GHRH receptor, ipamorelin the ghrelin receptor. When both are activated at once, the GH pulse is markedly higher than with either alone, that is the point of the combination. Ipamorelin is selective, so without notable effect on cortisol or prolactin.

The individual mechanisms are in the lexicon entries for CJC-1295 and ipamorelin.

What you need

  • The CP10 vial (lyophilized powder, both compounds).
  • Bacteriostatic water, U-100 insulin syringes, alcohol swabs.

Reconstitution

Use the calculator above. The values refer to the total amount. A 10mg vial with 2ml water gives 5mg per ml, 0.2mg total is then 4 units on the U-100 syringe. Just add the water to the vial and let it dissolve.

Injection

Subcutaneous into the subcutaneous fat, ideally fasted before sleep. Disinfect the site, pinch a skin fold, rotate sites.

What the research shows

The GHRH-analog pharmacology is studied in healthy people (Ionescu & Frohman, 2006), and the combination of a GHRH analog and a GHRP gives a stronger GH pulse in practice than either alone. For the ready-mixed CP10 format itself there is no separate approval, the benefit derives from the individual compounds.

Side effects

  • Water retention, tingling, swollen hands at higher GH levels.
  • Tiredness shortly after the injection (typical of the GH pulse).
  • Local reactions at the injection site.

Storage

Before mixing the powder is robust, normal room temperature (around 20 to 25 degrees) is fine, ideally kept in the dark. After mixing, keep in the fridge (2 to 8 degrees), do not freeze. It stays good there for at least 8 to 10 weeks with barely any loss of potency, in practice considerably longer. Swirl or shake to mix, both are fine.
